Welcome to TinyThunder

TinyThunder is a finance-led transformation partner for large, performance-focused companies.

We help improve how decisions are made, how resources are used, and how financial outcomes are delivered — building capability across the business, not just within finance.

How We Started

TinyThunder was built on a simple insight:

Too much value gets left behind.
We saw firsthand how good intentions, complex structures, and disconnected execution often dilute results — and how stronger financial capability, applied with speed and commercial clarity, could shift that trajectory.

With experience across finance leadership, organisational psychology, and enterprise transformation, we set out to do things differently.

Today, through value creation programs and plug-and-play solutions, we help businesses streamline, stabilise, and scale — delivering outcomes that are as financially measurable as they are operationally sustainable.

Our Outcomes

01
Make the complex simple

We help businesses bring structure and focus to complexity — creating the clarity and alignment leaders need to move forward with control.

  • Added clarity and structure around complex or ambiguous issues
  • Greater visibility when financials are unclear or fragmented
  • Clear definition of what matters, who owns it, and what happens next
  • Role clarity and alignment of accountability across teams
  • Re-established delivery rhythm and focus on execution
02
Delivering tangible dollars

We focus on outcomes that show up — in cost, margin, or cashflow. Every opportunity is financially anchored, tracked, and delivered with discipline.

  • Tangible financial impact in cost, margin, or cash
  • Clear sizing and sequencing to guide action and prioritisation
  • Alignment to financial targets with accountable delivery
  • Structured tracking across the pipeline: Mapped Estimate, Mapped Confirmed, and Delivered
  • Increased confidence through validated business cases and disciplined execution

03
Weather the storm

We help businesses maintain control when the pressure is on — stabilising the core, protecting performance, and creating space to act with confidence.

  • Stabilised financial and operational core during disruption or uncertainty
  • Structured response to leadership change, acquisitions, or liquidity pressures
  • Protected margin, cashflow, and critical performance metrics
  • Disciplined approach to scenario planning and decision-making
  • Clear actions that restore control and enable forward momentum

04
Forge a new path

When the current model reaches its limit, we help define and deliver what comes next — with finance embedded from the outset.

  • Clarity and structure to guide major decisions and trade-offs
  • Support for divestments, footprint changes, and growth strategy
  • Redesign of operating models to unlock performance
  • Balanced view across cost, risk, and opportunity
  • Financially anchored execution to ensure momentum and control

Delivery Principles

In complex environments, how we work — structured, pragmatic, cross-functional — is just as important as what we deliver. These delivery principles guide our approach.

Value

Realise the value, act commercially.
Commerciality underpins the sustainability of any business; we help you make decisions that will hit the scoreboard.

Focus

Focus on the future, understand the past.
Your history matters and will help inform your future. But the future is where we’re heading, so it’s where our focus remains.

Action

Get in the arena, have bias for action.
We champion speed of delivery and agility to course correct on-the-go, building momentum and capability along the way.

Connections

Build and leverage connections, take a global view.
We’re not experts in every domain; we rely on a network of your internal and our external experts to connect the dots.

Process

Use data and processes, make fact-based decisions.
We rely on tangible, data-driven inputs and structured processes to make smart decisions and take informed action.

Protect

Protect the business, governance and control pay off.
Getting the balance here is critical. Strength in governance and risk management enables program success.
